New web shop with a new brand image.
The newly created web shop based on Shopware 6 offers 25,000 items for the German and Austrian markets in German. The shop has been expanded to include standard functions such as search via FactFinder and payment via PayPal, AmazonPay, and Mollie.
The transfer of all product and customer data, as well as order data from the previously used Shopware 5 shop via standardized import scripts, was an essential component of the relaunch project. The development of proprietary plugins to support specific requirements expands the shop to offer the individuality that a provider in this field needs. In this way, we have created the basis for enhancements that the company can implement in the future.
At the same time, the shop now boasts a new design based on the newly developed brand image. The new corporate identity, which is aimed at a younger target group and features a new logo, colors, typography, and photography, is reflected in all elements of communication. The catalog, flyers, mailings, newsletters, and all areas of the shop now follow the new design guidelines.

This allows us to completely modernize the brand with a deep understanding of the end customers, while at the same time making the paths to the desired product tangible in the new web shop.
Agile sprints with defined releases, close collaboration between the Pollin team, our product owners, brand and webshop experts, and up to five developers ensure measurable project work.
Even after the relaunch, data-driven optimizations are continuously being incorporated into the shop, thereby optimizing the customer experience and key KPIs. In addition, jointly designed and implemented sales campaigns ensure additional sales peaks.

Pollin Electronic has been a mail order company since 1974 and lists over 20,000 items from the fields of gardening, electrical engineering, and IT in its catalog, with a circulation of over 200,000 copies, and in its online store, offering everything for ambitious electrical hobbyists, homeowners, and price-conscious end consumers. The team of over 230 employees ships over 4,000 packages per year from the central warehouse in Pförring near Ingolstadt. With enthusiasm and expertise, owner Max Pollin is leading the company, which has won the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” award several times, into the next generations.
