The tasks in your new role:

  • You will develop individual platform solutions based on WordPress for retailers and manufacturers, B2B and B2C

  • You identify optimization potential and your ideas help to implement even more effective solutions for users

  • Technologies such as PHP, MySQL, JavaScript as well as version control with Git and Docker-based development environments define your playing field

  • You routinely add personalization, search engines and CRM to create extensive customer-specific platforms

  • You implement robust and testable solutions for interfaces to external systems.

This is the know-how you should bring with you:

  • Even if a degree or comparable training is advantageous, what counts most for us is your enthusiasm and your analytical, solution-oriented way of working

  • You are confident in the development of WordPress applications and have several years of WP experience

  • You can extend the WordPress back office yourself, connect it to other systems and also visually customize the frontend – responsive, parallax

  • You can create new plugins and work confidently with existing ones. You can modify, install and use them.

  • You have secure know-how in OOP with PHP and databases

  • You are fluent in German (C1) and also feel comfortable with English.

And you may also have this in your pocket:

  • You are familiar with the principles of clean code and have experience in creating automated tests and applying CI/CD.

  • Ideally, you are also familiar with other PHP frameworks in addition to WordPress.

  • You are familiar with agile development processes and agile QA

We prefer to talk about our offer for your salary once we’ve gotten to know you, because then we can work with you to design a position that suits you exactly – also in terms of salary.
But you can expect to earn around EUR 40,000 to EUR 60,000.

We speak German and English and some colleagues also bring other languages to the team.

We work at least two days at the agency, three days can be remote. We do this because we are sure that seeing each other in person is good for our professional development and our collaboration. Because it creates trust and psychological security. But we also value remote work immensely because it gives us room for deep work, compatibility and freedom.
